Responsible Corporate Citizen

As a leading fine chemicals company, DIC is acutely aware of issues relating to the environment, safety and health (ESH). DIC has established a basic ESH principle and policies and, as a practitioner of Responsible Care, has made substantial progress in reducing its environmental impact, lowering energy and resource consumption, promoting safe chemical substance management and eliminating occupational accidents. DIC has also formulated internal guidelines for environment-friendly products and is focusing development on products that satisfy these guidelines.

Additionally, with the aim of harmonious coexistence with local community, DIC has been dedicating to the development of society by social contributions such as donating Spirulina, one of its health food products, and sponsoring establishment of school.

● DIC had sponsored the Xinming DIC primary school in Hainan province, China, which is warmly welcomed by local residents.

● DIC donated its Spirulina products to the Chinese Red Cross which was awarded the honor certificate by Qingdao municipal government.
